bällsta tableware

Work commissioned by ceramic and glass artist Alexandra Johansson for her Bachelor degree project Bällsta which is a contemporary tableware set with multifunctional purposes. The set consists of both glassware and ceramics in different hues of greige.

Alexandra describes her work as the following;

"Inspired by my upbringing in the suburb and how I connect the place i grew up to comfort – how can I apply the feeling of comfort to a vessel? With comfort and use as the central part in the project I explore shapes and contemporary use of everyday vessels."
