Internship as a design assistant at MELIMELI in 2018 that developed to a client of mine after graduation where I work as a design assistant focusing on product development.
As a design consultant at Melimeli I had several responsibilities throughout the design process. My main tasks were to create a wide range of CAD drawings for the lead designer to extend the existing product range of furniture and home accessories and was therefore a part of creating several of the products that can be seen today. Outside of working in CAD I worked closely with the factory Melimeli uses to discuss the making and ordering of new prototypes. Aside from product design I worked with graphic material such as the furniture assembly manuals, design of the e-commerce shipping bags, presentation slides and editing of photos from photoshoots.
